P150 Advisory Group
Goal and purpose
The goal of the P150 Advisory Group is to serve as a voice for P150 members, engaging with the P150 team to provide feedback, support, and input on P150’s priorities and activities.
The Advisory Group engages across four key facets of P150:
Membership. How do we diversify membership and include even more key perspectives, in particular advisors of color and advisors based outside of North America?
Equity and Belonging. How do we define and refine our approach to equity and belonging within P150, ensuring all members find a home here?
Programs and Innovation. How does the P150 platform test new tools, events, or activities to better support its members to move more money, more impactfully?
Sustainability. How do we build the team, financial resources, and partnerships necessary to ensure P150 meets its mission?
Structure and member criteria
The P150 Advisory Group comprises of 10-12 member representatives, with a focus on diversity of:
Perspective. With consideration of the numerous philanthropy advisory archetypes (single shingle, field builder, etc.) and philanthropy advisory approaches.
Geography. With consideration to ensure global representation.
Identity. With consideration to ensure representation across race, ethnicity, gender, age, and ability.
Experience. With consideration of tenure as a philanthropy advisor, as well as experience in other sectors and roles with direct relevance for P150’s mission.
